BlueField-4 is a NIC that combines a ConnectX-9 (800G) NIC with an NVIDIA Grace CPU. Specifically, it has1

  • 800G Ethernet or InfiniBand
    • 200G serdes
    • 200/100/50G PAM4 and 25G NRZ
    • Splits up to 8 ways (e.g., 8x100G)
  • 64-core Grace CPU (not the top-end 72-core variant)
  • 16-core “programmable data path accelerator”
  • 128GB LPDDR5X (not the top-end 512G variant)
  • 512GB on-board SSD

It has two form factors:

  1. a PCIe Gen6 x16 NIC
  2. a self-hosted device
